Canadian iPhone Launch Date Hinted at in Molson Giveaway Contest

For other countries (like us in Canada), the iPhone is coming. It's just a question of when.

A giveaway contest being held by Canadian brewer Molson may be providing more information than it should. The "Twist and Score" contest currently mentions that Apple's iPhone is offered as a prize and will be available come January, 2008 from Rogers Wireless.

According to Mobile in Canada, the phone will be from Rogers and can be won now, but won't be activated for its client until January of 2008.

As of now, the Canadian iPhone will be available at a price of eight hundred Canadian dollars and will not be sold without a contract. The contest is slated to end on January 4th, 2008.
